FlipReady Privacy Policy

FlipReady ("FlipReady", "we", "us", or "our") provides a tool that helps sports card resellers evaluate cards and create listings. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. FlipReady is an independent application, and some features are experimental.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect your email address and basic profile information.
- Content you add: the card details, photos, prices, and notes you enter to track and evaluate your inventory.
- eBay connection: if you choose to connect your eBay account, we receive authorization tokens that let the app act on your behalf to read pricing data and, where enabled, create listings. We store these tokens securely and never see your eBay password.
- Automatically collected information: basic technical and usage data needed to operate and secure the app.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide the core features, including card evaluation, deal scoring, and listing creation;
- save and display your inventory to you;
- connect to eBay on your behalf when you enable it;
- maintain, secure, and improve the service.
Third-party services
FlipReady relies on a few trusted providers:
- Supabase, for authentication, database, and image storage.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- eBay, when you connect your account, to retrieve pricing data and create listings you authorize.
- An AI service, which we use to help identify cards from photos and generate listing text. The card details and photos you submit for these features are sent to that service to return a result.
These providers process data only to perform their function for FlipReady.
eBay marketplace data
When you evaluate a card, FlipReady may retrieve recent eBay pricing information to show you comparable values. This data is fetched as needed to display your evaluation. It is not stored in a long-term database, aggregated, resold, or shared with third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above as needed to run the app, or where required by law.
Data retention
We keep your account and inventory data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items, disconnect eBay, or delete your account at any time, after which we remove your associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain information to meet legal obligations.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete the cards and photos you add.
- You can disconnect your eBay account at any time in Settings, which revokes the app's access.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure storage of credentials and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
FlipReady is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
